In June of this year, it was announced that Jack will join the BBC Radio 1 family, playing rock and alternative music from emerging artists on Monday to Thursdays from 11pm-1am.
Jack began his journey on Nottingham Trent University’s student radio station Fly FM, leading the station as Station Manager to it’s best ever student radio awards haul of nine nominations five golds and one bronze.
He won the first ever SRA Selector competition in his final year at university and got the chance to present on Ibero 90.9 in Mexico City. Sombreros, tequila and radio, doesn’t get better than that!
Jack joined Kerrang! Radio in the summer of 2014, and went on to join Radio X in 2015 as their early weekend breakfast presenter. In less than a year Jack has covered the Radio X Evening Show, weekday afternoons and The Chris Moyles Show, before securing his own midmorning slot on Radio X.
Jack has worked with the Cereal Killer Cafe, presenting a YouTube series interviewing some of his favourite bands whilst they take on cereal based challenges.
He promotes his own monthly gig night called Hopscotch, putting some very exciting new bands in the exclusive setting of The Social in central London. The Times, Guardian and Music Week have all been down to check out the hype and it’s fast becoming a key night for new bands to showcase themselves. Jack is currently planning another Hopscotch tour to take place in 2018.
2017 has seen Jack work with MTV, interviewing Green Day, Ed Sheeran and Biffy Clyro and he has also hosted the UK Blog Awards.
So far this year Jack has worked alongside brands Diadora and 7 For all Mankind.
When it’s time to relax Jack gets on his drum kit and is an avid rugby and football fan. He’s also a big gamer.
Jack is also a supporter of the mental health charity MIND.
